Chevrolet Corvette
Specificaties
De basis van de auto is een achterwiel aangedreven sportauto met
de motor voorin. De race versie van de C6 Corvette is bij de
firma Pratt
& Miller
Engineering in de VS ontwikkeld en opgebouwd.
Toen het eerste ontwerp voor de C6 nog op de tekentafel lag, werd
het plan al opgevat later uitgebreid met dit type te gaan racen. De
onderdelen van de productie Corvette
zorgen ervoor dat het een succesvolle racemachine is: de oersterke structuur
van het casco, het onderstel, de stroomlijn, kortom het hele concept in
feite, bestempelen dit type tot een potentiële winnaar.

Het hydroformed frame en
de grote torsiestijfheid zorgen voor een uiterst stabiel platform waardoor
gelijkmatige rondetijden mogelijk worden.
